BUY a Birthday Card?

Not I! I NEVER EVER buy a birthday card for anyone anymore! There's beyond inspirations online to make your own and add your own greetings using what you have at home. Especially if you are a scrapbooker or crafter as I am. I even made a birthday present with the individuals interest and colors in mind.

BEFORE (above) Just a simple LARGE wooden paper clip from Michael's $2 already pink. Nothing special but super cute as it is to hold a recipe in the kitchen or messages on your desk at work or just as a picture holder...BUT....

AFTER (above) Adding a couple flowers with a jeweled brad to the top adhered with the multipurpose super tackey glue / pink cardstock cut down to cover the bottom section of the paper clip / rub ons with the words "summer, sun and sunshine" / STICKLES as rays of sunshine on each rub on and a little stickle on the the flower itself on the top

Even a matching card with the oranges and pinks / used a piece of cardstock with some scraps of paper from my bin-o-scraps / some scallop edging to the top and bottom of the scrap paper / even added a flower with a jeweled brad in the center as an accent on the envelope.

WHY BUY A GREETING CARD?
